“Child Please!!!” Wait till you see who’s joining “Erin Pageviews” and the artist formerly known as Chad Johnson on the next season of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Yes, the Sideline Princess of all Sideline Princesses herself, Erin Andrews will be competing on the next edition of the reality/game show. I have a feeling her ability to draw in web traffic will translate to the show’s ratings. Think about all the aroused web geeks that will be posting screen captures on their sites the day after each episode- can’t buy publicity like that!
Ocho Cinco follows in the footsteps of former NFL stars Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith and Jason Taylor. He’s spent numerous seasons crafting elaborately detailed end zone dances, so this will be a natural progression for him.
Olympic figure skater (and Chicago native) Evan Lysacek joins a cast that also includes Buzz Aldrin, Jave Pavelka and my celebrity crushes of the year- 1992 and 2007. That would be Pamela Anderson and Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger. I’m not sure if I even developed an interest in females by ’92- I think I just picked that year to make the point that Pamela is just old and a shell of her former self these days.
As for the Wright St. alumnus Scherzinger (hey, my cousin is a prof. there- that’s why I know these useless things), she looks just as smoking hot today as she did in the NBA on ABC promo (see below) Basically she is/was to PCD what Lebron was to the ’08 Cleveland Cavaliers. Period.
I’m betting on Nicole to dominate this contest.

Unbelievable get by ABC. I will watch now that EA is on board. I just hope she’s ok but if she’s terrible and ABC clearly has to fudge the numbers to keep her, then it’ll look puuuuuuuurty bad.
What I can’t get over is why ESPN/ABC/Disney has decided to allow her to do this? Haven’t we seen less of her in broadcasts because of the peeping tom incident?
Aside from plenty of screen grabs, the blogsphere also benefits from Andrews being put front and center so publicly. People can no longer just point the finger at blogs when Andrews invariably becomes the object of lust to hundreds of thousands of drooling men during the next DWTS season.
