Carlos Hyde had a huge game at Northwestern last night- three touchdowns and over 160 yards. On a night when Ohio State really needed Carlos Hyde. Jordan Hall did not dress and “has a knee issue that they need to take care of” according to Urban Meyer. So Hyde was MVP for the Buckeyes.

NU has had issues stopping star tailbacks in games when they host ESPN College Gameday. Mikel Leshoure ran for 330 against the Wildcats in the Wrigley Field game in 2010, and Hyde put up big numbers last night. And then he got emotional afterward at the press conference.

Carlos Hyde broke down and teared up when answering questions about his suspension, missing football because of it, and possibly maturing from it.

Carlos Hyde was suspended because he allegedly hit a woman. However, the charges were dropped.

Skip ahead in the video to the 3 minute mark. The first three minutes are all boring cliches and press conference platitude boiler plate. Trust me, nothing good happens in this video until around the 3:15 mark.
