The final Michigan vs Notre Dame football game was an ugly one. It was very lopsided and quite boring. However, it was still the most-streamed Notre Dame Football game of all time.
NBC Sports Live Extra’s stream of the final meeting of the iconic (although not really all that meaningful) rivalry between Michigan and Notre Dame football delivered the most-streamed Notre Dame game ever among all key metrics. The stream delivered 95,000 uniques and 4.8 million minutes watched, up 175% and 223%, respectively, compared to last season’s per game average. The 4.8 million minutes beat the previous record for a Notre Dame game on NBC, set in 2012 (3.1 million minutes, November 3, 2012), by 55%.
If you’re going to live steam the Notre Dame football game tonight, I would do it early, since this one will also be over shortly after the coin toss. If you thought Michigan was bad, wait till you see Purdue. The spread is more than four touchdowns for a reason. Notre Dame football fans, you can start your Saturday night early.
