On last night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Baltimore Ravens star wide receiver and Super Bowl champion (should have been MVP, but Federal law dictates it’s goes to the QB each year) Jacoby Jones talks about winning the Vince Lombardi trophy in his hometown of New Orleans and the pre-game meal that his mom cooked for the team. Known for his touchdown dances, Jones is asked by Kimmel if he’d ever consider being a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars” transcript and video below.
Jacoby Jones is probably the breakout star of Super Bowl XLVII? After catching a long touchdown from Joe Flacco and then breaking away from the San Francisco 49ers for a 108-yard kickoff return at the start of Sunday’s second half, he looked like what Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears used to be a few years ago.
As for DWTS, it’s had a lot of athletes on the show, especially heavy with NFL players including Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward, Chad Johnson, Lawrence Taylor, Jason Taylor, Kurt Warner, Jerry Rice and a few more I can’t remember
Kimmel: Would you consider being on Dancing With The Stars? As a representative of the ABC television network, I would like to offer you the chance to compete on Dancing With The Stars. What do you think about that?
Jones: Let me ask you this: Do polar bears poo on ice?
Kimmel: I’m relatively sure that they do, although I’ve not witnessed it …
Jones: I hope they don’t do it in water, that would be nasty!
Kimmel: So you would do that (go on DWTS)?”
Jones: Oh yes sir … I’ll get it done. I’ll get it done, baby.
