New York Jets Owner Woody Johnson could potentially become our next Ambassador to Great Britain.
Thus, there’s never been a more apt and timely usage of this post’s featured image, the N.Y. Jets logo if it were British GIF, as imagined by daveartlocker.blogspot.ca
Johnson taking that job could have ripple effects throughout the organization. Here’s NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, as he gets as insidiest inside and any insidier insider who have incited insight in regards to Rex Ryan. Here’s what he reported on NFL Gameday Morning:
On the N.Y. Jets plans to rebuild:
“First of all, Rich, you mentioned the possibility of Woody Johnson becoming the ambassador to Great Britain. From what I understand, that could come from him stepping away from day-to-day duties with the team; he could have another person making the call on the N.Y. Jets. They do go into a huge offseason and, from my understanding, regardless of who makes the call, the Jets are not inclined to move on from head coach Todd Bowles, not inclined to blow it up again, barring a couple performances like they had Monday night, maybe another collapse.
“What the Jets are looking for this offseason is, first of all, to step back a little bit and rebuild, try to build this thing through the draft, try to build the middle class of this team more, and do it through leadership. They have plenty of players, big-money veterans, that are simply not providing that, so expect them to move on from some of these familiar faces.”
“Maybe Darrelle Revis, maybe Brandon Marshall, certainly Sheldon Richardson. The Jets team is going to look very different, hopefully for them more together, in 2017.”
Brandon Marshall not being wanted anymore by his current team? SHOCKER!! NEWSFLASH!!!
Interesting that they want to get off Revis Island now though, as that is certainly a major sign of a total rebuild coming with this N.Y. Jets franchise.
