Alex Flanagan has probably interviewed Manti Te’o plenty of times. We’re all sick of hearing about Te’o, but we could use more talk about Alex Flanagan. You’ve seen her on NFL Network as a reporter/anchor. And she’s the sideline reporter for NBC’s Notre Dame broadcasts. She is….Alex Flanagan.

Alex Flanagan started her career in college as a student intern at KVOA-TV. She also worked as a reporter/weekend anchor at KCCO-TV in Alexandria, Minnesota. She has been a reporter for the NFL Network since Nov ’06. Previously she worked for ESPN as sideline reporter for college football and also appeared on SportsCenter and Baseball Tonight.

Before her career at ESPN, the allegedly 6 foot tall Alex Flanagan was also a TV anchor for WSFA Channel 12 in Montgomery, Alabama.

Alex Flanagan has been the sideline reporter for Notre Dame home football games since 2007. For the 2008 Summer Olympics, Alex Flanagan served as host of CNBC and USA Network’s coverage.

After the jump…is the Alex Flanagan photo gallery…

[…] See, this is why we don't need sideline interviews. This isn't that much worse than you're typical on-field halftime or post-game stuff. They're all bad.  But don't take my word for it. Look at the testimonial from an actual sideline reporter, NFL Network and Notre Dame reporter Alex Flanagan (go here for her full bio and pictures) […]
