Who better to help preview the New York Jets season than a former New York Jets QB.
Boomer Esiason is best known today for his role on CBS Sports, primarily on The NFL Today, as well as a morning co-host on New York radio station WFAN, the “Boomer and Carton” show. Norman Julius Esiason is also a Monday Night Football analyst for Westwood One.
And he’s known for having some strong opinions too. And most of the time he’s right.
“They’re not getting past the New England Patriots and Tom Brady, it’s just not happening,” Boomer said during our exclusive at NFL on CBS Media Day.
“But they’re in the boat with Buffalo and Miami.”
Here’s the podcast, the New York Jets talk begins at the 5:15 mark. We also talk New York Jets, Giants, the best division in football, the NFC West, Chicago Bears, Jay Cutler and much more. I even brought up the Jay Cutler DON’T CARE story.
And he said he didn’t even care to hear it. So Boomer Esiason don’t cared me on the topic of don’t care so that was really cool in and of itself.
