EA sports is putting the opportunity to become a player in their next football video game, Madden NFL 13, up on the auction block at charitybuzz.com to raise funds for the ACLU of Southern California.
The winning bidder will submit their name, height, weight, age, skin tone, hair color/length, accessories and college, as well as choose intricate gameplay attributes. The winner gets to decide all the specifics. Then, they’ll become a permanent part of the next release of the best-selling Madden NFL game.
I’m guessing they won’t make the cover though, and therefore not have to worry about the dreaded “Madden Curse.”
Electronic Arts has sold more than 85 million copies of Madden NFL since 1988, and as many as two million in one week.
The experience, valued at $20,000, will benefit the ACLU of Southern California, a nonprofit that defends and secures constitutional rights and extends them to people who have been excluded from their protection.
Bidding is open now through November 30th at charitybuzz.com HERE
