You’ve seen her on ESPN Baseball Tonight, as well as handling some of the Eastern Seaboard Programming Network’s incessant coverage of the New England Patriots. She’s the gorgeous 38-year-old Wendi Nix who hails from the New England area.
Prior to working for ESPN, Wendi Nix was a weekend sports anchor at WHDH in Boston (2003–2006) and had previously worked for Fox Sports Net, NESN and WPDE in South Carolina.
Wendi Nix was married to Boston Red Sox Vice President of Player Personnel Ben Cherington (now the Red Sox GM as Theo Epstein left to run the Chicago Cubs), but a Myrtle Beach Tribune 2010 interview indicated they are no longer married. So she’s supposedly back on the market, maybe.
Nix received degrees from University of Massachusetts Amherst and Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She is a 1992 graduate of Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The father of Wendi Nix was a football coach at the high school and collegiate level.
And a couple pics of her in those sexy naughty librarian glasses
