Until Peyton Hillis of the Cleveland Browns in 2010, the last Caucasian to run for 1,000 yards in the NFL was Craig James of the New England Patriots. Yes, that Craig James of ESPN. The one who never says anything interesting on-air. Does this make him qualified to hold a powerful position in government?
No.
James was at SMU during the height of their corruption; played his college football in the now defunct Southwest Conference during it’s wild west period of bribes, pay-offs, kick-backs and graft.
Now you know he’s qualified to be a political leader in Texas!
The Dallas Morning News is reporting that James will officially enter the Republican U.S. Senate primary in Texas by Thursday.
This is the same guy who worked with a shady PR firm to intentionally mislead an ESPN reporter and use his media pulpit to assist getting a coach fired for not playing his son. We all know Mike Leach is nuts, and far from blameless in that incident; but Leach’s wackiness doesn’t mean James isn’t also a tremendously corrupt d-bag. You want to vote for a kid who was at the center of the biggest scandal at the most corrupt college football program of all time?
Watch this video below and tell me how you can stand to vote for this man.

Texans for a Better America sounds like a lot of the same Rick Perry Texan political horseshit about “free markets,” and “economic freedom.” Which of course, always segues into that bullshit about “pure competition” and the “self-made man” myth.
How many times do we have to here politicians espouse cliches about the free market and deregulation, especially the GOP, and especially in Texas, only to find out later how they cheated and gamed the system to illegally help themselves? You telling me James is different? PLEASE!
Actually, his ESPN and CBS work will probably help his political career. He’s used to talking a lot in public without every actually saying anything of substance- he’s the perfect Texan Republican political candidate.
