Colt McCoy entered the NFL a third round draft pick out of Texas. Despite all he accomplished in his college football career with the Texas Longhorns, expectations for his pro career were only moderate.
McCoy won more games as an FBS quarterback (45) than anyone else in NCAA Division I history (since broken by Boise State’s Kellen Moore). In his senior year, he won 13 of the top 15 major college player awards including quarterback of the year, offensive player of the year and outstanding football player of the year.
Yet scouts were only lukewarm on McCoy, a 2010 third round pick, because there were questions of his arm strength.
This far, McCoy had performed like a solid starting QB blossoming into a bonafide star with the Cleveland Browns. And he has an app, the “Colt McCoy Official App.”
The App has been as high as #3 in Sports and top 200 overall for all iPhone apps. It allows users access to unique content, powerful social networking tools and detailed insight into all 32 NFL teams. See the pro football player experience through Colt McCoy’s exclusive content and access.
But you don’t have to be a Browns fan to enjoy it, the app contains an incredible amount of content on all 32 NFL teams: live news, twitter feeds of every team and all their players (that have one). Listen to official team podcasts, access websites, everything you can imagine – and it is all neatly organized and easily accessible.
Colt has also organized fan sites, fan feeds and many fan podcasts for all 32 NFL teams. Want to know what the other side is thinking and saying, the app can do that. And you can voice your opinion in response.
FanConnect is the best way to enhance your sports experience with other fans. Colt McCoy himself will drop in regularly and speak to the FanConnect users. “FanConnect really let’s you be part of the action, no matter where you are in the world,” says Jason Moskowitz, a partner at The APP company. “You can also talk to Colt McCoy, Browns fans, and other NFL fans at any arena where there are live events. Feel the atmosphere and participate in the excitement… and the heckling too!”
