So what LBs do you see in the 2010 class that you think might fit in well to Philly’s system??

Breaking News!!! THE EAGLES DRAFTED JEREMY MACLIN LAST YEAR!!! Not DeSean Jackson!!

Why pick up yet another 1st round WR when you had one last year and you have Jackson & Avant as options. The Eagles have a pretty good TE core with Celek and the rookie thats on IR. I say they need to get better in the linebacking core. They’ve had a steady rotation of linebackers all season since Bradley got hurt.

You make a good case, and I agree with many of your points….but also, how much faith do you have in J.T. O’Sullivan and Jordan Palmer to step in if something were to happen to Carson?

If the Bengals need to draft Colt McCoy to start grooming Carson’s replacement, there are about 15 other teams that need to do it too. \

Carson Palmer – Age:29
Drew Brees – Age:30
Tom Brady – Age:32
Donavan McNabb – Age:33
Peyton Manning – Age:33
Brett Favre – Age:40

By no means do I think Carson will last until he is 40, but unless injuries seriously slow him down in the near future, we can wait on that pick for another 2-3 years. Bengals have other voids to fill.

I’m waiting to hear the news on Eli Manning’s injury before I move them up in the order. But of course, I know losing 5 of 6 would kill a lot of optimism for the season regardless of whether its Manning or Carr down the stretch. there are indeed a lot of good safeties and linebackers in this draft, so the Giants will have the opportunities to fill that need

i’m quite surprised that a lot of people are thinking that NYG are going to go with anything other than a Linebacker or safety. Gresham would be great, but our defense is being treated like dirt. and theres no way we do well enough to pick that low.
