I realy like this draft You put in a ton of work on this and I think you hit just about every teams needs in the draft. The only addition should be coach Spags takeing someone who knows when to take timouts and when you do not need to take one like just before the 2 minute warning.. He is a bufon on game management..Oakland will take taloy mays due to his speed and freakish athletics..
On your Texans pick, I think they are pretty set at SLB with Brian Cushing, he just pulled in the DROY award today. On the weak side with Zac Diles they seem to be pretty happy but could use an upgrade potentially. Their biggest area of need remains Secondary, OLine, and DLine.
Your Saints pick of OG doesn’t make sense. They already have Evans(pro bowler) and Nicks who should be in the pro bowl. You even mentioned their need on the OL is tackle.
Steve, yeah I hear ya, I plan on re-slotting each week as the playoffs occur. Its’ why I put the disclaimer up.
David, I agree with you that DL and DB needs may come ahead of LB in Hou, but I think Weatherspoon is prospect you can sort of classify as blue chip, and he’s versatile enough to play multiple LB positions
Thanks Florida Ted! I spend a lot of time on this each week. It’s my favorite feature on the site, partially because it’s the most well-read and viewed, so it motivates me to do additional research and find extra tidbits and nuggets of info out each week to improve every week’s addition. Next week, I’m expanding to round two…when we get to March/April I’ll add round 3.
I agree when Al Davis drafts, he believes in 40 time “uber alles”
It’s more of a value-based pick than a need. Like I said. It’s directly related to what I have them doing in the 2nd round, but I didnt have time to add the 2nd round in this mock, I will next week. So when I change it then, it will all make more sense
I hear ya man…trust me I feel your pain. And I think next week, I’m changing the Clausen pick to Was. Because they will be much less interested in investing in Jason Campbell under Shanahan

Did you just slot the playoff teams by their records? Because I don’t think it’s possible for 4 of the first 5 picks to be AFC teams.

Oh my god NO NO NO! The Browns can NOT go with another Notre Dame rookie quarterback. Please we can’t dip from the Charlie Weis well again!!!!
