Last night I stayed up till 3:45 CT to watch the end of Team USA’s triumphant return to Gold Medal glory. Keeping me company via text messaging were two guys named Dave, (you guys obviously know that one is David K.) who are the biggest NBA geeks of all my friends. It was fun to know that they were just as into the final game victory in the wee hours of the morning as I was! U-S-A U-S-A! Here is the complete three part history of Team USA basketball written by TSB NBA contributor Andy Weise. He wrote it last summer when the site was in its old format. To understand how the Redeem team got where they are today, you have to know where they came from. Enjoy!
