The Spurs were one of my favorite picks to unseat the Lakers in the West in the preseason, but when they started 4-5, I cooled off on them a bit. I still LOVE the Richard Jefferson trade and the Antonio McDyess signing, and although they didn’t have the best 1st month, I do like San Antonio to turn it on down the stretch.

Boozer is always a beast for about half a season. Then he gets injured and struggles the rest of the season.

I know Portland has a better record, but I would have to go with the Spurs over them in the rankings
