We told you there was absolutely no point in watching any of the NBA postseason before the Finals begin. However, you already knew that. Everybody knows that, and the Boston Celtics showed us exactly why that is tonight.
Perhaps it’s more appropriate to say that the Cleveland Cavaliers conveyed the pointlessness of everything that precedes the NBA Finals. The NBA on TNT team was absolutely laughing their heads off at halftime, when the score was 72-31, and discussing just how lifeless and lacking in pride the Boston Celtics appeared.

Boston, and their Western Conference counterpart, the San Antonio Spurs, will be finished off soon enough, and we can all move on. Forget about even trying to watch the conference finals, either of them, as an actual consumable series will get here before you know it.
In the mean time, here are some of the more entertaining and interesting tweets tonight reacting to the Cleveland Cavaliers TOTAL ANNIHILATION of the Boston Celtics.
