Maybe Jay-Z is really putting together “The Blueprint,” for a championship. The Brooklyn Nets all but officially re-signed Gerald Wallace yesterday, Deron Williams says it’s either Brooklyn or Dallas, nowhere else. And Jason Kidd wants to be a package deal with Williams to back him up.
But here’s the piece de resistance: Dwight Howard says Jay-Z’s ballclub is the only one he wants to sign with. Put it all together, and a very weak Eastern Conference, all the Brooklyn opponents will have “99 Problems.”
It’ll be a “big pimpin” starting five that all the “girls, girls, girls,” will love.
Howard did not exactly specify the one team, but Magic general manager Rob Hennigan confirmed Monday what multiple league sources have told ESPN — Howard wants to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets, making that clear in a meeting the GM had with the Magic center Friday.
Hennigan said Monday that Howard singling out one team complicates any potential trade scenarios, but he has not committed to honoring that demand and said he will keep communication lines open with the All-Star and his agent.
