Verlander had the same home plate and 1b umpire in both his starts agasint tthe brew crew, 4 years apart. now a lot of people, like gerald henderson for example would mislabel that “ironic” when it is coincidence. hats off to berthiaum for saying its coincidence not irony.

You might notice that pretty much all the pictures here show UNC guys in unflattering moments…must be a coincidence…yep that’s it, no hidden meaning to be read into that.
