Yankees have new sideline reporter: Yes Network hires Meredith Marakovits



The YES Network, home to the New York Yankees telecasts has hired Meredith Marakovits as their new Yankees sideline reporter, replacing Kim Jones.

The suburban Philadelphia native had been covering the her hometown team, the Sixers for CSN Philly. According to the Albany-Times Union’s blog:

Meredith Marakovits will report on the Yankees during the game telecasts, pre- and post-game shows, and the “Yankees Batting Practice Today” show. Meredith Marakovits also will appear on YES’ special Yankees programming and will contribute to YESNetwork.com.
