Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras has been on the disabled list with a strained hamstring for close to a month. Tonight we learned what he’s been doing with some of that down- messaging former porn star Mia Khalifa.

Not getting a response from the former adult films entertainer didn’t seem to discourage Contreras much at all. He kept staying assertive. The 25-year-old kept firing away, despite the rebuffs from Khalifa, who tonight decided to share her Twitter direct messages from Willson Contreras tonight.

Hey, couldn’t she have just unfollowed him, if it was annoying her so bad? If so, that would have made it impossible for him to DM her. That would have ended things quickly. Why did she have to go the attention desperation “HEY, LOOK AT ME!” route? So she shot him down- no big deal I’m sure she rejects guys all the time, why does she have to make this a news story?

If she’s not interested in Willson Contreras, fine, why not be an actual adult about it and just tell him that directly?

I don’t really see the need to publicly shame him just because he made a few passes, and then acted rather clueless about reading the signals from the woman he was coveting. It appears that Mia Khalifa is trying way too hard to get attention on herself here.

Khalifa tweeted out screenshots of the messages she received from the young star, and tagged the Cubs official account, asking the team to come get their man.

Have a look:

A spokesperson for Octagon Baseball, the agency that represents Willson Contreras, went with the old tried and true, industry standard cliche response to this type of situation.

Octagon claims that his “twitter account was hacked.”

Right.
