Tonight the Milwaukee Bucks unveiled the new design for the Bradley Center playing court. Using the Milwaukee Art Museum as the backdrop, the unveiling of the Robert Indiana-inspired new home court design honors the Milwaukee Bucks history.
You know the Milwaukee Art Museum? You the TSB reader is a cultured and sophisticated person, right? The Museum is that awesome looking, sailboat resembling building right on Lake Michigan. Therefore it presents the aesthetic effect of a schooner in the lake.
Milwaukee Bucks Hall of Fame announcer Eddie Doucette, Milwaukee Bucks players Larry Sanders and John Henson, as well as other players and members of the Bucks basketball and front office staffs were on hand. The Milwaukee Bucks will place the names of all MVP season ticket holders on the physical playing surface for the team’s home opener on Nov. 2. Thousands of MVP names will be included within the center line of the new playing surface for all season ticket holders of record as of Oct. 18, 2013.
The new court is a celebration of everything Milwaukee Bucks.
It’s been an interesting offseason in Milwaukee- total overhaul of the backcourt. The Brandon Jennings soap opera finally ended. Most of their primary scoring on that new court will come from completely different sources as it did last year. Should be interesting.
