Time for your daily David de Gea and Sergio Ramos updates. It’s a a never ending soap opera like Arturo Vidal was last summer. Will De Gea stay at Manchester United, or move to Real Madrid? Same question regarding Ramos (just reverse the teams). The two players potential transfer moves, if and when they happen, are somewhat inter-twined now.
This storyline is pretty much speeding towards resolution now.
De Gea might be playing for United on Saturday versus Barcelona, according to what Louis van Gaal said.
Real Madrid Manager Rafa Benitez says that Ramos will “100 percent” stay with his side.
“Sergio Ramos is our player and he is a key player for us” he said. “I would like to see him at the beginning of the season playing for us. I think he will be crucial for us during the season.
“I am 100 percent. I insist it’s clear for me and for the club that Sergio will be here. I have a lot of respect for Louis van Gaal and football is a curious world, but Sergio Ramos will stay with us.”
The Manchester Evening News reports that United had a £28 million bid for Ramos rejected, but they will keep bidding.
