There are a few major surprises in the Manchester United starting XI at Liverpool tonight. Manager Jose Mourinho has set forth a lineup that has no Paul Pogba or Anthony Martial. The Red Devils first team will also include Ashley Young.
It’s a rare start for Young but the real interesting developments pertain to Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba. Both are out, and not even listed as substitutes for this epic rivalry clash.
Paul Pogba, the world’s most expensive player, will not be taking part in United’s biggest rivalry game. What’s up?
Also, Juan Mata has been dropped from the first team. Anyway, here’s the rest of the starting XI as Tweeted out by the official verified Man United account. Enjoy the match.
