Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba are synonymous with the lean and dab, as they’re known to frequently showcase those dance moves. While that’s a 2015 thing, Pogba turned the clock back to 2012 yesterday and did a little Gangnam Style at training yesterday, ahead of United’s road leg of their quarter-final UEFA Europa League tie with Anderlecht.
It comes on the same day in which Pogba meet the media for a preview press conference, and a journalist asked the world’s most expensive player about all the criticism he receives, especially for his dancing. In that Q&A session Pogba revealed that Manager Jose Mourinho has had conversations with him about his dancing.
Watch the Gangnam Style video below:
You’ll recall Gangnam Style as the inescapable song of 2012, which inspired countless viral video send-ups, and an almost immeasurable amount of Halloween costumes that year.
Pogba’s skill and passion for dance are also on display in this video from last August below. He made a dance video with his twin brothers on the occasion of their birthday.
It was uploaded to Instagram, check it out.
Since we’re on the topic of United players dancing, you also might want to check out this gimmicky, others might say cringe-worthy, promotional video featuring Jesse Lingard.
He’s the instructor, with his teammates Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (well not anymore, CBJ is off to Wolves) and Timothy Fosu-Mensah the students at Dab University.
