Paul Pogba has had better days than this on the pitch.
Okay, most of the days that he’s been on the pitch were better than this. The world’s most expensive player “achieved” the world’s first ever “Dab” handball penalty (more on that with visuals at this link), which conceded a penalty kick to Liverpool, which was then converted by James Milner.
Then he committed this ridiculously aggressive challenge, which was not called.
This horse-collar, choke hold, WWE style, whatever you want to call it, was not booked.
Here’s the video of Paul Pogba taking down Liverpool Captain Jordan Henderson.

Overall, it wasn’t the best officiated match by referee Michael Oliver. In addition to the Paul Pogba blown call, there were some other questionable calls. Some felt that Wayne Rooney got away with some stuff while others believed Antonio Valencia was offsides on United’s lone goal
Getting back to Pogba, and his awful game, the $116 million (£89.3 million) also blew a golden scoring opportunity.
The match ended in a draw, the first time that both meetings have resulted in a draw since 1987-88.
Here are some match statistics: Liverpool 13-9, shots on goal 4-3. United had 17 fouls and 55% possession to Liverpool’s 13 and 45%.
