It’s really a crying shame how Luke Shaw got seriously hurt just as he was settling in. The Manchester United left back really got into a groove and was adeptly holding down the left back position when he suffered that gruesome broken leg in the UEFA Champions League group stages versus PSV Eindhoven. The young Manchester United defender trended worldwide, as well wishes came in from all over the world.
Turns out he may not return this season.
Manager Louis van Gaal confirmed that he is looking at acquiring potentially a defender in the January transfer window to fill the void left by Luke Shaw ‘s injury absence. The Dutchman told the Daily Star:
“Maybe we have to buy a left-back in January. Shaw was the main player for that position, so it was a big blow for us. I don’t know if he will play again this season.”
So now you can start speculating on who that Defender could be. Go ahead and have at it in the comments section
