Manchester United have awarded their September Player of the Month, and he’s a teammate of the Red Devil who took home the Premier League Player of the Month Award. Juan Mata won the club’s award while Anthony Martial claims the League award.
So who’s right?
Which player is more deserving?
Well, you can’t really go wrong either way. Both Mata and Martial played in four games, with Martial scoring three times and Mata twice. Mata had two assists to Martial’s one. He also created seven chances while Martial created three. Juan Mata had a goal and an assist in two UEFA Champions League games.
For the season, Mata has created more than twice as many chances (16) than any other player.

In other Juan Mata news today, the Spanish playmaker took the “Impossible Football Basket Challenge.” To say the least, it did not go very well. He only nailed 2/8 shots into the basket. Instead of being clever and selective with the editing, Mata was really quite honest here. Take a look.

Kudos to Juan Mata for keeping it 100; one hundred percent real.
