It’s a very pivotal UEFA Champions League group stage clash for Manchester United tonight. It’s a de facto elimination game. Win and they’re in. Any other scenario and it’s pretty much knocked out of the knockout round.
Here’s what ESPN FC’s forecasting models are saying for this one:
Soccer Power Index chances Bet 365 odds
Wolfsburg win 48% 13-10

On to the injuries, Wayne Rooney is still out with the ankle problem he suffered last week, and his form has just been awful this season. The attack has had issues both with and without him. Midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin also wot be featuring at Wolfsburg.
The man who filled in for Luke Shaw at left back, Marcos Rojo, dislocated his shoulder in training, so the Red Devils are down to third option at that specific position. Center back Phil Jones, like Rooney also has an ankle issue. The team’s best midfielder this season, Ander Herrera, is still out with the hamstring injury he suffered versus Watford two weeks ago.
So, here’s the Manchester United starting XI we patched together with the players remaining.
