Former Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck was shoved out the door at Old Trafford towards the end of the summer transfer window. The 23-year-old was told by Manager Louis van Gaal that he doesn’t matter that much to depth chart. Van Gaal even made some bold comments after the striker was transferred to Arsenal, saying that Welbeck wasn’t good enough. LVG said he doesn’t meet Manchester United standards.
Danny Welbeck answered those comments with a hat trick last night for the North London side in Champions League play. Despite this amazing performance, it appears Welbeck is still a bit obscure to whoever the individual was that filled out the England Senior Squad roster. Or maybe, they’re just not caught up on the news from a month ago, as you’ll see in this photo:

For the purposes of UEFA Euro Qualifying Competition, this person seems to think that Danny Welbeck is a member of The Red Devils, not The Gunners.
