Javier Hernandez has been a super sub for three different teams in 2014: Manchester United, the Mexico national team “El Tri” and Real Madrid. However, there’s one man who believes Chicharito could be so much more.
And his opinion matters a lot, as it’s Los Blancos legend Hugo Sanchez
“The only thing he needs to do is to convince [Carlo] Ancelotti with games like the one in the Estadio Riazor,” said Sanchez of Chicharito, who won five La Liga titles as a player at Madrid, in Spanis media outlet AS.
“With goals comes confidence. When he gets more time and more opportunities, hopefully his numbers will be what’s required at Madrid. This team creates a lot of goalscoring chances and that’s going to help Chicharito.”
“He didn’t play much, but with [Sir Alex] Ferguson he was more active,” he said. “That change affects you, as does whether the coach has faith in you, it can give you confidence or not. I hope Chicharito convinces Ancelotti and gets enough time on the pitch to show his quality at Madrid.”
