Time for your daily Arturo Vidal is coming to Manchester United update. We’ll look at what media outlets in which countries are saying the transfer is happening/not happening/might happen. After all there’s media in three countries interested in this: Juventus (Italy) his current club, Chile (where he was a national star for the World Cup team) and United (England of course!)
Here’s the latest:
-From the Daily Star, Arturo Vidal could be on the move too. He says he is only interested in leaving Juventus for Liverpool, Manchester United or Real Madrid this summer.
-The Independent says that Vidal will be the subject of a £39 million bid. I didn’t include the link though because their site is beyond annoying. The link takes you to an overlay ad, and then an interstitial promo, which redirects to the homepage and then a mandatory paywall. Then you have to search again for the individual article off the homepage. It’s really a very very poorly designed news site. Hence I didn’t link it.
-Finally, from Sports Mole, A FIFA-registered agent has claimed that Manchester United will secure the services of Arturo Vidal during the “second week of August”.
There have been conflicting reports regarding United’s rumoured pursuit of the Juventus midfielder, the latest of which has claimed that the 27-year-old has put his house in Turin up for sale.
Then again, how can you trust anyone from FIFA? Given the terrible reputation they have for utter corruption and moral depravity?
