Manchester United is the perfect place for Paul Pogba. That’s what Pogba’s teammate on the French National Team Antoine Griezmann believes.
Pogba broke the world transfer fee record when he came back to United, and Griezmann has been enthusiastically tweeting the #Pogback hash tag as his country man made his triumphant return to the Old Trafford pitch.
“I think the supporters in England won’t be disappointed,” Griezmann, a star with Atletico Madrid, is quoted in the Guardian.
“They can expect the spectacular from Paul. He deserves it, he works hard and he has the talent to be such an important player.
“He loves that league. Manchester is the perfect club for him, with Mourinho they are making something new.”
While Pogba is the world’s most expensive player, Griezmann might be in the best form, and he finds himself in the Ballon d’Or discussion. His combined stats for club and country are sublime- 39 goals in 67 appearances.
