As the long international break rolls into its second week, team news is lean right now. Maybe Euro 2016 Qualifiers aren’t the most exciting things in the football world, but it’s always interesting to see how your team’s favorite stars are faring with their national clubs. Teenage striker Anthony Martial, who started out with Manchester United in manner that exceeded all expectations, made his first start with France tonight.
Martial began the game versus Denmark up front alongside Giroud and Girezmann. He made an immediate impact, setting up Giroud for the first goal in the fourth minute. In other Martial news today, the budding young superstar told a French media outlet that he believes United can win both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League this year.
