Manchester City have FINALLY signed Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin de Bruyne. It’s completely, totally, utterly official now. The German club have sent him De Bruyne to Manchester for a club record £55 million fee. This is the second time this summer that City have broken the club record for a transfer fee (Raheem Sterling £49 million back in July, that one itself was a long, tedious journey)
This was undoubtedly the second most drawn, protracted, never-ending transfer saga of the summer. The still not settled David de Gea will he or won’t he leave United for Real Madrid gets the “top” spot in this category.

That link above is pretty good; it has plenty of interesting and funny Kevin de Bruyne signing reaction Tweets. This one is done; deadline day is Tuesday so we’ll get closure on David de Gea very soon too.
