It’s a first for Raheem Sterling, but probably the first of a few (or perhaps even many) to come for this very promising youngster. The £49 million man scored a hat trick today as Manchester City crushed Bournemouth 5-1. Even more amazing, he scored all three goals in the first half.
No Sergio Aguero, no problem for the Citizens, at least when Raheem Sterling is on point like this.
Here’s the footage of all three Sterling goals. Take a look:
The first brace was a perfect example of sublime ball movement. The second goal exemplified excellence in schooling an opposing defender and leaving them helpless. The third Raheem Sterling goal was the paradigm of perfectly opportunistic play in front of the opposing goal.
In other words, the Raheem Sterling hat trick footage today provides an excellent clinic for all the young footballers out there.
