Yacine Brahimi is the latest Liverpool FC transfer rumor to be circulating in the Twitterverse, blogosphere, cyberspace and media world. Whether it will actually happen or not is a very different story, but it’s all very interesting to read nonetheless. With the silly season upon us, it’s time to talk summer transfer window.
Yacine Brahimi, has been a target of many other big name teams, in addition to Liverpool, reportedly.
Atletico Madrid have supposedly given him a serious, in-depth evaluation. The Porto winger, who was rated as a 30 million-pound acquisition, has also been a target for both Manchester clubs, as well as Arsenal.
The 25-year-old’s price tag, if various news agencies are to be believed here, has seen his price tag jump 33%-50% in the past year, as numerous outlets are claiming the tab at Anfield road for this acquisition would now be in the £40-£45 million range.

This amount, if agreed upon, would break the Liverpool club record for a single signing. The position that’s best for Brahimi is up on the left hand side in the attacking three, a slot currently occupied by arguably the club’s best player, Philippe Coutinho. So where would he fit? DO they move him into a #10? Would Coutinho be moved inside, and they keep Brahimi outside?
Things to consider….
