Liverpool FC Manager Jurgen Klopp just said a couple days ago that the team doesn’t need to sign big names this summer transfer window. Klopp also said the next day that LFC will sign one or two more players this summer. Today’s news hold true to his words as Ragnar Klavan is certainly not a big name
The Estonia international defender, and now officially a member of LFC, is still a relatively big signing, given the current lack of options the Reds have in central defense.
? It's safe to say Ragnar Klavan is delighted to be here!

Dejan Lovren is, literally, the only match fit and available man in central defense on the roster right now. More on Ragnar Klavan via the Daily Mail:
The vastly-experienced Estonia international has been brought in as cover at centre-back as Mamadou Sakho and Joe Gomez both currently have injuries and Tiago Ilori, who could have been a fall-back option, is heading to the Rio Olympics with Portugal.
Klavan has more than 100 caps for his country and has had four seasons in the Bundesliga. Jurgen Klopp sees him as the ideal man to offer back-up and leadership in much the same way as Kolo Toure did before his departure this summer.
Dear Liverpool supporters, you can now say “welcome to Anfield, Ragnar Klavan.”
Also, Liverpool Echo is reporting that Klavan is unlikely to feature in tonight’s friendly with Huddersfield Town, but he should join the club on their summer preseason tour in the United States.
