In the spring of 2015, when he was manager at Liverpool FC, Brendan Rodgers hinted at his simmering frustrations with Dejan Lovren by suggesting Kolo Toure‘s commitment on a daily basis was the reason that Toure had been selected ahead of Liverpool’s £20 million signing.
Rodgers was a huge fan of what Kolo Toure proverbially brought to the table, and now the two men are reunited.
Toure saw his contract at Liverpool expire in May and now the defender has signed a one year deal with Celtic Football Club, the biggest and best FC in Scotland.
Before Liverpool, Toure also had experience with Arsenal and Manchester City. For more on Toure, you should check out these links to some of his highlights and lowlights from February 2012. Like when he scored this hilarious own goal, or the time he crushed Fulham’s Phil Dowde.
