A story in the the Daily Express said that Barcelona’s 31-year-old Brazil right-back Dani Alves is wanted by both Liverpool and Manchester United. It turns out that Manchester City are in for him too.
Alves is out of contract at Barcelona next summer and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in the last few months. Paris Saint Germain were thought to be front runners for the player’s signature but their interest has waned

Dani Alves is set to drift out of the first team at the Camp Nou this season as fresher faces are introduced into the team by new coach Luis Enrique. Both Martin Montoya and new signing Douglas are vying for a spot of their own in Alves’ place.
