With a 51-3 shellacking of the Indiana Hoosiers, the Wisconsin Badgers improved upon a nine-game winning streak that has been downright horrifying for the Hoosiers.
In those nine games, the Badgers have outscored the Hoosiers 467-136 and averaged 346.0 rushing yards per game.
Here are some more of those numbers that must have people involved with the Indiana football program never wanting to see the Badgers ever again.
Wisconsin’s Rushing Offense, Oh My …
– The Badgers finished the game with 676 yards of total offense which was good for the second-highest total in school history and the 17th time they’ve went over 600 yards.
– Five of the seventeen performances over 600 yards have been against Indiana, including three in their last six meetings.
– UW’s school record of 705 total yards came vs. Indiana in 1999.
Indiana Left Asking “Where’s Our Offense?”
– The Badgers snapped the Hoosiers school-record streak of 10 games with at least 28 points. The last time they were held without a touchdown was in a 55-3 loss to Michigan State on November 19th, 2011.
– Indiana entered today’s game having scored in 21 straight quarters, but failed to score at all in the entire first half, something they haven’t done since September 29th, 2012 vs. Northwestern.
– A top-10 offense averaging 43.1 points and 527.1 yards of total offense were held to 3 points and 224 yards. That’s an astounding 40.1 points and 303.1 yards off pace.
A Little Guy Named White Will Forever Remember the Hoosiers
– Badgers running back James White had a game for the ages; a career-high 205 yards rushing to go along with a 93 yard touchdown that’s the longest play in school history.
– White’s seen the Hoosiers on four different occasions and has gashed the team for roughly 149 yards per game (144 yards in 2010 and 161 yards in 2012) to go along with six total rushing touchdowns.
