(Update: Andrew Shaw being investigated by the league over usage of profanities and gay slurs)
Any time you hear the words Patrick Kane and beer together, you think “yeah, makes sense,” sounds right. Since winning the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the 2013 NHL postseason, Kaner has: appeared drunk at the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup celebration in Grant Park, been photographed wearing a unicorn head while out partying in Chicago, and talked about how much he enjoys Jimmy Buffet concerts on Late Show with David Letterman.
Kaner at a Buffet concert? Sounds like the “perfect storm” of abbreviation. And here we have Patrick Kane and Andrew Shaw, and a couple beers, re-enacting the most iconic scene from 1998’s most successful film “Titanic.”
Bear in mind, the Patrick Kane exploits I listed above are JUST the ones that have occurred since Blackhawks vs Bruins Game six last week.
From the Andrew Shaw Twitter Account h/t to RedEye contributor and “Current Liker of Puppies” Matt Lindner. Not “forever liker of puppies,” or “lover of puppies,” but “current liker of puppies,” according to his Twitter bio.
The web loves the drunken exploits of Patrick Kane. But don’t forget about Shawzer. Fellow Blackhawks broski Andrew Shaw dropped an F bomb on NBC during the Stanley Cup Final.
And let’s not overlook Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford, who dropped two f-bombs in ten seconds during his “speech” at the Victory Rally yesterday.
