Tottenham striker Harry Kane was named an available substitute for Spurs in their massive derby at Chelsea today. It’s a must win for both sides as this is match will have tremendous consequence on determining the fourth and final UEFA Champions League qualification slot.
Kane has obviously made a remarkably quick comeback from his ankle injury, surging back into the team well ahead of even the most optimistic time tables for his return. Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino says that Kane might see some playing time in the second half, should the right situation arise.
?? Mauricio on @HKane:
"It's important that he's back involved because he's a very important player for us. We'll see what happens during the game but if in the second half we need him, he is ready to play." #COYS pic.twitter.com/o6CXn2DAiq
