Tottenham Hotspur have had a massive summer transfer window deadline day, signing both Giovani Lo Celso (reportedly a club record breaker in terms of transfer fee) and England youth international Ryan Sessegnon.
The 19-year-old Fulham star, who was wanted by a handful of big clubs, arrives on a five-year contract with a club option for an extra year. According to the BBC, Spurs paid £25 million for the left-sided winger, in a contract that could rise to £30m with performance-based incentive add-ons.

David Ornstein writes that midfielder Josh Onomah, 22, moves to Craven Cottage as part of the deal.
Sessegnon unexpectedly struggled this past season in the top flight. His lack of productivity was surprising given how he won an unprecedented five awards when he played in the championship in 2017-18. With the Craven Cottagers now back down this upcoming season, Spurs have given the teenager a chance to stay up with the big boys.
After several transfer windows of doldrums, Spurs are finally spending again, and they’re spending big! It’s an exciting day and and a fun transfer window for Tottenham fans.
