Tottenham Hotspur has seen one player leave White Hart Lane and lose out on one former player that they were targeting. The 32 year old Fulham Striker Dimitar Berbatov has completed his medical with AS Monaco, with the result coming in shortly. He was rumored to be returning to the Spurs, as well as linked with clubs outside of the Premiere League in Bulgaria.
But that’s not the only Tottenham Hotspur transfer news on this deadline day.
Etienne Capoue on Tim Sherwood not playing him: “I’m not surprised. That’s the English attitude. They don’t know foreign players very well,”
There was talk that Etienne was off to Napoli since he may be better off. However, talks broke down. Other Spurs news:
Lewis Holtby was training with Fulham today. Reports are a that a loan deal is done with the chance of a permanent deal possibly in place. Holtby had been linked with both Schalke and Dortmund. So we will see if Tottenham Hotspur add anyone else before the deadline tonight
