Daniel Sturridge Loan Deal in the Works Between Liverpool for Southampton?

Liverpool FC may be soon parting ways with the third and final member of the three Ss attack. In 2013-14, Liverpool finished runner-up in the Premier League, propelled back an exciting, fun-to-watch attack led by Luis Suarez, Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge.

The first two have transferred out (Suarez to Barcelona, Sterling to Manchester City), and now we have rumors circulating around the web that indicate Sturridge could be out the Anfield door as well.

We’ve seen a handful of players move up to Liverpool from Southampton since 2014, but now we could see a transfer going the other way, according to The Independent:

The Saints are preparing a £25m bid for the England international which would see Sturridge join initially on loan in January, with a view to a permanent move in the summer.

Sturridge has found himself reduced to a place amongst the Liverpool substitutes with Jurgen Klopp willing to let the injury-prone striker leave the club to make room for new signings, according to the Express.

Sturridge has fallen out of favor under Jurgen Klopp, and now finds himself behind Robert Firmino when it comes to forward selection.

Perhaps a move down to the south coast club is the way to go; he might be the alpha at St. Mary’s.
