Midfielder Paul Pogba was pictured back at Manchester United’s training ground today, stirring excitement about the possibility that his return to action could potentially come soon. Pogba featured in the Instagram story of teammate Jesse Lingard, a quick video clip which showed the 24-year-old £89.3 million man copying the winger’s newest goal celebration.
Pogba looked in really good spirits as he poked fun at the dance moves of the man who bagged a brace to lead United to victory over Swansea in midweek.
There is still no official update on the injury return timetable for Paul Pogba. Manager Jose Mourinho has been tight lipped a about the situation amidst swirling reports earlier this week indicating that Pogba’s return could come in December.
That seems to be the old narrative now though. Both the Daily Star and Daily Express are reporting that Pogba could return to action against Chelsea a week from Sunday. The Express posted a photo of Pogba driving himself to the Carrington training complex, which is of course a good sign.
However, as the Manchester Evening News points out, the Frenchman was not photographed taking part in any training on Thursday. In other words, no one really knows the scoop at this point, but Jose Mourinho is certain to be asked a couple questions about it at his weekly press briefing in a few hours from now.
