Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho said this past Sunday, after the 4-0 home rout over Everton that he doesn’t know how long Paul Pogba could be out with his hamstring injury. Mourinho rejected the widespread narrative that Pogba could be out until the end of October, instead maintaining that his midfielder could be out “12 days or 12 weeks,” and that the Frenchman’s status is truly up in the air.
Given what we saw today, the pendulum is definitely swinging a lot closer to 12 days than it is 12 weeks.
Pogba posted another dance video, and in the process showed the world that he’s feeling pretty good right now. This post originated from the United trainer’s room ahead of his side’s 4-1 thrashing of Burton Albion in the League Cup third round, on Instagram.
Have a look at the Instagram posting:
Pogba captioned the Instagram post with a nod to fellow injured Red Devil Axel Tuanzebe: “Happiness is always there even injured..yaaaaah @axeltuanzebe_38your laugh ?#manchesterunited #dance
United are next in action against Southampton in league play on Saturday. One should not expect Paul Pogba to play in that one, but it’s clear from today’s video that he’s doing alright. It looks like sooner rather than later, he’ll be match fit again.
