Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is tried and true bonafide winner. Everywhere that he’s gone, he’s meant business and he’s simply gotten it done. The mercurial Swede has said he envisioned success with the Red Devils, and this is just the start. He also said that winning trophies is something that gets better with time; like a fine wine!
Before coming to Old Trafford, he’s done his part to help him team capture trophies at Ajax, Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter and Paris Saint-Germain.
Even notorious professional troll and Arsenal die-hard Piers Morgan sees Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the achiever that he is.
Ibrahimovic and Mourinho have won silverware everywhere that they have gone together (United, Barca and Inter) and sometimes during the first season. Ibrahimovic scored twice, including the decisive game winner, as United defeated Southampton 3-2 at Wembley Stadium.
After the match, Mourinho hailed Ibra as the MVP, and Man United Twitter hailed him as the man of the match as well. Zlatan had high praise for his manager as well.
“He is a winner. When you get Jose you know what you get. If you want to win, you get Jose and that is the way it works,” Ibrahimovic said.
“The club knew what they were doing when they bring him, it is nothing new, it is something that keeps going and following him, I’m super happy for him.”

Zlatan also said in the postgame media session that Mourinho was a huge factor in his decision to move to United on a free transfer this past summer. He was aware of the Portugese’ stellar track record and he expected more success to continue.
“I got a call from Jose Mourinho — I might have a good relationship with him — and, when he called, that’s the reason I came. I’m happy I came. I know I made the right choice. I predicted things — what I predicted is what I’m doing now.”
