Signed, sealed and delivered.
Benfica defender Victor Lindelof becomes the very first signing of the 2017 summer transfer window for Manchester United. He was at Carrington training ground today to complete his medical and then sign his new deal.
After these two items of business were completed, he posed for his first pictures in his new United shirts and then the official statements were sent out.

#HejVictor is the new hashtag for this announcement.
The club’s official site posted an in-depth feature story, the concluding paragraph reads:
“For now, the composed centre-back will be focusing on adapting to life at United. In 2016, Jose Mourinho’s first summer signing was also a defender with much promise in Eric Bailly. If Lindelof can enjoy a debut campaign as successful as the Ivory Coast international’s first year in Manchester, everybody will be delighted.”
There are rumors that Alvaro Morata could be the next player to join the Red Devils.
There’a talk that Old Trafford is also looking to acquire a holding midfielder and winger. In terms of midfielders, Nemanja Matic, a player on Mourinho’s previous team, has emerged as a candidate.
