Manchester United Winger Jesse Lingard is the answer to a great trivia question. Lingard was the last United player to score in both the last goal of the Louis van Gaal era (FA Cup 2016) and the first (2016 Community Shield) of the Jose Mourinho era.
A couple days ago, Lingard met his hero, the legendary Ronaldinho at a Miami night club, and posted the meeting of the footballers on his Instagram account.
Ronaldinho is also the answer to a great trivia question as well, as the Brazilian became just the second Barcelona player, after Diego Maradona in 1983, to receive a standing ovation from Real Madrid fans at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Lingard captioned “Legend, icon, idol,” with hashtag #GOAT (“greatest of all time”) for you non-millenials.
Ronaldinho responded by posting a few emojis, which obviously, summed up the emotion of this particular situation succinctly.
